Dial and Nippletop are two of the 49 Adirondack High Peaks. Someday I hope to reach all of these, but so far I've only gotten to three. The Adirondack Park is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen, in person or otherwise. The region is full of waterways, forest and mountains as far as the eye can see. You can take it all in from above, follow each individual trail to all the thousands of tiny lakes and waterfalls, or make your own trail and lose yourself for a while. Just take care not to lose yourself completely. Some parts of the park are so popular you're constantly running into other hikers while in other areas you may not see anyone else for days.
